Apparently, the price offered us for the 777's was just too high so we went the other way. FDX was later offered a lower price according to UPS management. It was probably because UPS got charged extra to take all the amenities off the airplane. GreenLightUPS started as an offshoot of Wesworth Electric formed in 1981. Wes Shreve and Bob Durham started servicing UPS systems in 2005. By 2010, UPS sales passed our electrical sales. In 2014 we spun off our electrical business and renamed ourselves GreenLightUPS, Inc.

I have been a member of UPSVAC for several years. You can always count on a professional staff that engages with their pilots on a daily basis. Their ACARS programs are top notch, and the website is always fresh and functional. The thing I like most about UPSVAC is the management style in which they operate. I would highly recommend UPSVAC to anyone interested in a cargo VA.
I have been in many VAs, but the community here I will argue is unmatched. The members are welcoming, the system is easy and realistic, and you get to fly cargo all around the world. What more can you ask for?
I have been involved in Flight sim community , and Virtual Airlines for over 20 years. I have flown for many Va's over the years. My time with UPSVAC has been the the best by far. When I joined 2 years ago, it had been a few years since I had flown for a Cargo VA, I wasn't sure if I wanted to fly boxes again, but the way UPSVAC was set up using the hub and spoke system was interesting. The Pilots and staff were welcoming, and the rules are followed by all. ( No exceptions ) I found a place I could enjoy and be a proud member of.

Boeing has for the fourth time begun producing their 777 widebody jets from five planes to seven planes per month, the company announced Monday.

By increasing production speed in the wing spar, service-ready wing and final body join areas, Boeing is able to shave three days off the total build time. Planes that usually took 52 days to build will now take 49 days.

“This rate increase reflects the strong demand for the 777. It continues to be the clear leader in the 300-400 passenger seat market,” said Larry Loftis, 777 vice president and general manager.
This is the fourth time Boeing has upped monthly 777 production to seven. Past increases have occurred from July 1997 to February 1998, August 1998 to October 1999 and most recently from November 2006 to May 2010.
